He wrote, “How would a fantasy Floyd Mayweather vs Gervonta Davis fight at lightweight (135lbs) play out in your opinion?”
While Davis, at 29-0, is the current champion at 135, Mayweather only made the weight for the division for a couple of years before moving up. However, he fought the likes of José Luis Castillo and Victoriano Sosa and racked up victories during that spell. But is that enough for the fans that Mayweather at 135 beats Davis?

A fan predicted that Mayweather would have won all 12 rounds. Notably, the Michigan native has won 15 titles in 4 different weight categories and has been a dominant force to deal with. They wrote, “Floyd wins all 12 rounds.”
Similarly, a user believed Tank would have found it difficult to go past the seventh round. The orthodox boxer would have tagged him throughout the fight and tested his chin, nullifying his power punches. They responded, “Floyd at 135 and 140 was a total menace. Tank wouldn’t make it past the 7th round.”
A comment pointed out the difference between two versions of Mayweather: one who worked his way up by fighting anyone and one who fought for a hefty paycheck later in his career.
