It appears as if Floyd Mayweather and John Gotti III will be running it back, and for real this time.

On Friday night, Mayweather announced that a rematch between the undefeated boxer and six-time MMA veteran will take place Aug. 24 in Mexico City. “Money” made a similar announcement this past November for a fight during Super Bowl weekend in Las Vegas, but it never materialized, and in fact, Gotti himself never confirmed the booking.

Gallienne Nabila, is a model and social media influencer, she has 1.6 million followers on Instagram. She has previously signed with Elite Model Management and moved to Los Angeles in 2020 to work with Wilhelmina Models.

BoxerFloyd mayweather is being sued over an alleged assault, involving the famous athlete’s security team.

According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, the lawsuit comes nearly two years after Floyd Mayweather’s bodyguard was under investigation for battery for the same incident.

Now, Floyd Mayweather is being sued over the damage allegedly inflicted by his bodyguard.

Man Claims Floyd Mayweather’s Team Assaulted Him

This is not the first time Mayweather has faced a lawsuit. In 2010, a man accused the boxer's security team of assaulting him at The Palms casino in Las Vegas.

The man claimed he wanted to take a photo of Mayweather, and chat with him about boxing in the casino's valet parking area, but Mayweather took offense to this, and reportedly gave his bodyguards a thumbs-down sign.

The bodyguards intervened and reportedly hit the victim in the face, knocking him down and causing him to smack his head on the pavement.

Mayweather and his promotional company were accused of assault and battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and employee negligence.

In the filing, the victim claimed the 2022 incident occurred when the Mayweather Money Team entered the Yard House restaurant near Crypto.com arena (which is formerly known as Staples Center) in L.A., which “resulted in a large crowd gathering around them, causing a commotion.”

The person says he was “using his cell phone camera [to begin] recording the Mayweather Money Team” which is when the professional boxer noticed the man was taking video. That is when  and/or the MMT got one of his bodyguards’ attention.

member of Mayweather’s team approached the alleged victim “negligently, carelessly, intentionally, maliciously and/or physically touched, struck and/or hit [the victim] by striking him and causing him to fall to the ground,” per the new legal documents.

The bodyguard then proceeded to wrestle the man to the ground “in an attempt to confiscate his cell phone, causing further injuries and damages.”

At the time, a rep for Mayweather said the famous boxer left the restaurant without incident because it was too crowded.

Victim Claims He Was Fearful Of His Safety

The victim claims he “was placed in great fear for his life, health and safety,” although, it’s reported that he waited nearly 30 minutes to call police and report the incident.

When cops responded to the call, they took a battery report. After reviewing the report and taking witness statements, they concluded that the victim’s story was not entirely consistent with what bystanders claimed.

According to the police report, the alleged victim said he was filming the boxer, who got upset and started an altercation. That is when a member of Mayweather’s security team allegedly assaulted the man as they tried to get him to delete the video on his phone.

Per the report, Mayweather’s bodyguard allegedly picked up the man’s phone and attempted to get the man to unlock the cell phone for him, so the video could be erased, however, the man allegedly refused to comply, so the bodyguard gave the phone back, and everyone reportedly went separate ways.

Witnesses, however, told police officers that the man “flopped” after the incident with the bodyguard, and fell over dramatically to the floor.

The person is now suing Mayweather for an undisclosed amount.

Floyd Mayweather’s Team Accused Of Another Assault

This is not the first time Mayweather has faced a lawsuit. In 2010, a man accused the boxer’s security team of assaulting him at The Palms casino in Las Vegas.

The man claimed he wanted to take a photo of Mayweather, and chat with him about boxing in the casino’s valet parking area, but Mayweather took offense to this, and reportedly gave his bodyguards a thumbs-down sign.

Hall of Fame boxer Floyd Mayweather is praising Jake Paul.

On July 20th, Paul is set to box 58-year-old Mike Tyson at Cowboys stadium in a fight airing live on Netflix.

Ahead of the fight, several pro boxers have criticized the Paul-Tyson matchup due to the 30-year age difference between the two.

Mayweather, however, is praising Paul for being able to “steal money” by fighting Tyson on Netflix.

“What he’s doing is kinda cool. If he can continue to steal money and they match him the way they match him, I can’t knock his hustle.”

Mayweather’s answer isn’t surprising, considering he once said he was the best at “legalized bank robbing” after an exhibition fight vs Logan Paul.

“They say, ‘It’s not all about the money.’ Well, your kids can’t eat legacy. The patches on my trunks, [earned me] $30 million alone,” So who’s really the smartest one in the sport of boxing?

“If you guys don’t wanna see me do no exhibitions, don’t come. Don’t watch. When it comes to legalised bank robbing, I’m the best.”

Floyd Mayweather Praises Jake Paul for 'Stealing Money' in Mike Tyson Fight"

A slick counterpuncher in Floyd mayweather vs. heavy-hitting A fighter with technical prowess goes up against a fighter with a big heart and carnage. It is a perfect match for the eyes. But who would have won it if ‘Money’ and ‘Tank’ had graced the boxing ring around the same time and exchanged blows? The fans also gave it serious thought and had their pick.

Mayweather, 47, hung his boxing gloves in 2017 after improving his boxing record to 50-0 against Conor McGregor. Around the same time, Davis, 29, had tasted his first glory and had only started his run as a super flyweight champion. The two have represented two extremes of boxing in recent years, slick and technical boxing and fan-friendly style. So, when Michael Benson asked, it piqued the fans’ interest.

Michael Benson asks the amusing question

"Why Floyd Mayweather vs. Gervonta Davis Debate Is Heating Up: ‘Wouldn’t Make It Past the 7th Round’"

TalkSports’ Benson turned to his X handle and asked how a fantasy played out in boxing fans’ heads. He also stipulated the fight to be fought at 135, a weight cut both have fought at. He wrote, “How would a fantasy Floyd Mayweather vs Gervonta Davis fight at lightweight (135lbs) play out in your opinion?”

While Davis, at 29-0, is the current champion at 135, Mayweather only made the weight for the division for a couple of years before moving up. However, he fought the likes of José Luis Castillo and Victoriano Sosa and racked up victories during that spell. But is that enough for the fans that Mayweather at 135 beats Davis?

Fans have their pick in Floyd Mayweather vs. Gervonta Davis

A fan predicted that Mayweather would have won all 12 rounds. Notably, the Michigan native has won 15 titles in 4 different weight categories and has been a dominant force to deal with. They wrote, “Floyd wins all 12 rounds.”

Similarly, a user believed Tank would have found it difficult to go past the seventh round. The orthodox boxer would have tagged him throughout the fight and tested his chin, nullifying his power punches. They responded, “Floyd at 135 and 140 was a total menace. Tank wouldn’t make it past the 7th round.”

A comment pointed out the difference between two versions of Mayweather: one who worked his way up by fighting anyone and one who fought for a hefty paycheck later in his career. However, it seemed both versions would have handed Davis a defeat. They said, “We talkin pretty boy or money? Either way.. Floyd by MD.”

A fan banked his faith in Davis’ threatening KO power, which has bamboozled  and Isaac Cruz, two fine names at 140 currently. They announced, “Tank knocks him clean out, Floyd never faced someone explosive like tank in his career, Tank has to much Aura.”

Likewise, another user believed Davis would have beaten Mayweather irrespective of weight and era. They expressed, “Tank beats Floyd at any weight, any era.”
